The words go like this: 'Gonna jump down, turn around. The original character in this rhyme was replaced with a tiger. I think the use of humor as well as the famous childhood saying coming to life makes it so appealing. The words go like this: 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe,/Catch a nigger by the toe./If he hollers, let him go,/Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.' Well at least, that’s the original, 'nigger' was later replaced by tiger.

I enjoy this advertisement and find it very effective in promoting it’s new product of new flavors of gum in one pack. The advertisement’s purpose wants to extend their message to people of all ages so that they can convince you to buy their products rather than another brand such as Trident or Stride Gum. I believe that the commercial was intended for a general audience, people who may consume their product or enjoy gum. () - A Southwest Airlines flight attendant's use of a popular children's rhyme - 'Eenie, meenie, minie, moe' - has resulted in a federal racial discrimination lawsuit against the airline filed by two African American women asking for unspecified financial damages. One of the two women suing over the allegedly offensive nursery rhyme claims hearing the rhyme caused her to be bedridden. It is an easy, simple way to catch the attention of the audience and will make the commercial much more memorable in their minds. I think the humorous tone of the advertisement makes the advertisement. The tiger then growls and says, “Do I really need to holler?” in a serious, deep tone. New rhyme: Bibbity-bobbity-bet Perverts on the Internet. Then once he pops the piece of gum in his mouth, a tiger appears as if he was caught by the toe. Eenie meenie miney mo Catch a tiger by the toe If he hollers, let him go My mother said to pick the very best one And out goes Y-O-U.

The commercial has an adult in a job setting deciding which type of gum he wants using the common childhood phrase “Eenie meenie miney mo…” This alone is funny to me because though I still use the phrase, I do not picture an adult ever using it as a way of deciding anything even something as simple as what type of gum to chew. Eeny, meeny, miny mo, catch a tigger by its toe, if it hollers let it go, Eeny, meeny, miny mo I was born in the 80s.

The tone of the video is humorous but in a dry humor type way. Eeny meeny miny mo Catch a tiger by its toe If it cries, let it go Eeny meeny miny mo. The video was designed with a humorous tone for a general audience with a clear purpose of promoting the product. The video I chose was the commercial promoting the new Mento’s brand gum UP2U. Eenie meenie miney mo!” As a freshman in college, I still find myself using this catchy saying to make decisions all the time. As a child, I can guarantee that most people used the phrase “Eenie meenie miney mo, catch a tiger by the toe.
